Like many of our projects, this was about seeing past the original shag carpets, the dark and damp interiors and the sad overall feeling to the house’s inherent potential and charm. Working closely with the client, we created a design that would feel comfortable and bright while also integrating those qualities that best suited the needs and sensibilities of the clients. As with most of our design-builds we vaulted the ceilings, added windows and skylights, brought in warm, wood features
and modernized the kitchen and bath rooms. We care not just about making houses livable, but making them lovable; it’s the difference between a house
and a home.
